ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday hearing a reference filed against PTI chief Imran Khan and General Secretary Jehangir Tareen issued notices to the PTI leaders to submit reply on November 16.
Earlier, the reference was filed by six Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) parliamentarians seeking disqualification of Imran Khan and Jehangir Tareen.
Advocate Hamid Khan, a counsel for PTI leaders, prayed the ECP to cancel the reference as the petitioners did not appear before the commission.
However, the election commissioner issued notices to Imran Khan and Jehangir Tareen to submit reply on November 16.
