DG Rangers urges masses to cast votes without fair

KARACHI: Ahead of the Local Government elections in Karachi, DG Rangers Sindh, Major General Bilal Akbar along with the Inspector General Police Sindh reviewed the security plans for the elections on Thursday.

Speaking to the journalists, the DG Rangers urged the people to come out and vote without any fear or apprehensions. He emphasized that fool-proof security has been put in place for the LG elections.

The DG Rangers stressed that the Karachi operation will continue until the last terrorist and target killer has been eliminated.

He said the terrorists will not be able to demoralize the forces through cowardly attacks, instead they further galvanize the morale of the forces.

He revealed that further headway has been made in the investigation into the killing of military police personnel in Karachi.
