DG Rangers appeals parties to support Karachi peace efforts

Director-General (DG) Rangers Sindh, Major-General Bilal Akbar appealed political and religious parties not to provide shelter to criminals and terrorists. He clarified that Karachi operation is completely impartial and not against any political party.

Maj. Gen. Bilal Akbar held a meeting with 70-member delegation of All Pakistan Security Services Association at Sindh Rangers headquarters here on Sunday, spokesperson said. The delegation was briefed over peace efforts of the security agency in Karachi and ongoing Rangers’ operation.

He said that the targeted operation underway impartially but not to target any party. He appealed political and religious parties not to provide shelter to criminals and terrorists. Akbar added that the ongoing operation cannot be restricted to a time limits and pace.
