LAHORE: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah on Monday termed democracy as the biggest accountability.
Taking to media at the resident of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Mian Manzoor Wattoo, Syed Khursheed Shah said that the double standards of the federal government came to the fore when the PML-N leaders in Punjab expressed their fear on being held accountable.
He added that Interior Minister did not live up to his statement regarding making a commission to investigate the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
“NAB has seen something that’s why the accountability organisation want to hold accountability in Punjab”, he said.
He added that secret deals were made for the export of Liquified Natural Gas (LNG). He added the resources in Punjab will be affected due to coal based power projects.
