Nawaz Sharif may depart on London trip soon

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar has said that the decision to allow former prime minister Nawaz Sharif travel abroad was taken 100 per cent by Imran Khan.

In a statement, Asad Umar said that he was present in the the meeting in which it was decided to allow Nawaz Sharif travel abroad. About 6 to 8 people were present in the meeting while the matter of sending the PML-N leader abroad was earlier discussed in the cabinet.

He said that the decision to send Nawaz Sharif to London was taken by Imran Khan and the prime minister did not say that the decision was not taken by him.

The federal minister said that the senior leadership of PTI was present in the meeting and everyone had different opinion on the decision to allow Nawaz Sharif to travel abroad.
