LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party leader Ahsan Iqbal has said that the decision makers are with the government, so it will complete the five-year term.
Speaking on a local TV show, Aitzaz Ahsan said that Maryam Nawaz and Maulana Fazlur Rehman used to make big claims about dislodging of the government but the situation is contrary to their statements.
He said that the yesterday’s joint session was unusual. On the 18th Amendment, there was joint suggestions came. I have quit sharing opinion on judicial decisions.
He said that the opposition could go to the Supreme Court or high court on electronic voting machines, but there could be no judicial intervention in the matter after the ruling of the National Assembly Speaker.
