SIALKOT: Funeral prayers of Daska Bar Association Rana Khalid Abbass and Irfan Chuhan have been offered in Daska while on appeal of Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) lawyers community observed strike and boycotted court proceedings against lawyers murders.
The two lawyers were killed in police firing on Monday (yesterday) outside city police station. Rana Khalid would be laid to rest in his home town Sikhwan.
Former governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar also attended the funeral of deceased lawyers.
On the other hand the lawyers community of the country observed complete strike in courts and did not appear before the courts as a protest against the lawyers killings.
Lawyers hoisted black flags in Bar councils and Bar associations while lawyers boycotted courts proceedings overall the country.
