LAHORE: A death row convict was sent to gallows in Court Lakpat jail in Tuesday’s wee hours under tight security.
The murder convict Idrees had killed a person in 1997 over a feud. The death warrants of the death row prisoner were issued on September 29.
He was allowed to meet his family last time yesterday (Monday). His body was also handed to the family members as well.
