LAHORE: Pakistan will grant its highest civilian award and honourary citizenship to West Indian cricketer Darren Sammy award.
The Pakistan Cricket Board’ media department, in a message posted on Twitter, said: President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi will confer the highest civilian award and honourary citizenship to Darren Sammy on 23 March for his invaluable contribution to cricket in Pakistan.”

Sammy, whose team Peshawar Zalmi under his captaincy had won the PSL in 2017, is lead the squad again in the fifth edition of popular tournament.
The West Indian all-rounder is the most famous foreign cricketer playing in the PSL.
