Dairy farmers have once again rejected committees formed to control prices by Commissioner Karachi and hiked milk rates up to Rs6 in Karachi.
President Dairy Farmers’ Association, Shakir Ali, in his statement rejected DCO recommendations. A meeting scheduled between dairy farmers and commissioner Karachi was also cancelled today.
New prices of the milk set up to Rs90 per liter.
On the other hand, Commissioner Karachi termed the hike as ‘illegal move’ and announced to make strict action.
