Curfew, Internet blackout enter 120th consecutive day in occupied Kashmir

SRINAGAR: The people of occupied Kashmir are under military curfew and without Internet facility on the 120th consecutive day here on Monday.

Indian forces had transferred two Kashmiri youths Muhammad Afzal Lone and Fayaz Ahmed Ganaie to Srinagar Central Jail from Kupwara and Srinagar areas.

Both were arrested on alleged charges of organising anti-India protests and hurling stones.

Earlier last month, the post-paid voice calls were restored in the valley.

On Aug 5, India had abrogated Article 370 withdrawing special status given to occupied Kashmir.

The government had imposed the military curfew and communication blackout in the occupied Kashmir.
