SHEIKHUPURA: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) gunned down seven terrorists in an encounter here in Sheikhupura.
According to details, the counter terrorism force tried to stop the terrorists traveling on motorcycle after which the miscreants opened fire at them.
An exchange of fire took place between the CTD personnel and the terrorists after which seven terrorists were reportedly killed.
The slain terrorists were affiliated with a banned organization and were going to carry out their activities in Lahore and Sheikhupura.
Large number of weapons, hand grenades and three motorcycles were recovered from the slain terrorists.
CTD sources said that five kilograms of explosive material, detonators and maps on intelligence installations were also seized.
