ISLAMABAD: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri has said various development projects under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) were underway in the province that would help bring progress and prosperity there.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, he said, believed in serving the masses and he had put the country on track to development through such projects.
Talking to PTV, Zehri said political stability was vital in the country to complete mega projects initiated by the PML-N government. The chief minister said politics of confrontation should be abandoned because it could harm the democratic process in the country.
He urged the opposition to resolve all issues through dialogue as it was beauty of democracy. The PML-N government, he said, believed in doing constructive politics rather than opting for confrontation.
He said the critics of Motorway project were now praising it and now preferred to travel on it. Sardar Zehri said not a single case of corruption had surfaced during the tenure of present PML-N government.
Some foreign elements, he said, were active to sabotage the mega project of CPEC.
The CM said a special financial package would be announced in upcoming budget 2016-17 for the earthquake victims of Awaran district.
