MULTAN: Punjab Governor Malik Rafiq Rajwana has said that completion of development projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will bring about an economic revolution in the country.
He said that economic activites were being increased and new employment opportunities being created with the launch of new projects.
Rajwana said that the country was on the way to progress and prosperity, and the benefits of development had started reaching masses.
The governor expressed these views while talking to various delegations and political and social leaders here at the Circuit House on Sunday.
He said that they should work with unity for progress of the country and also snub the persons creating controversies.
He said that the incumbent government was paying special focus on health, education, drainage and maintaining law and order in the country. He said that future of the youth is bright, trade and industrial sectors would be promoted while our peasant also be prosperous after the CPEC projects.
On this occasion, MPA Haji Ehsanuddin Qureshi, ex-MNA Sheikh Tariq Rasheed and others were also present.
The governor listened to problems of people and issued directions for their solution.
