Islamabad: Planning Minister and chief of National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) Asad Umar has said that the coronavirus positivity rate was 13.3 per cent yesterday (Friday) in Peshawar.
In a message posted on Twitter on Saturday, the federal minister said that covid positivity rate had surged in Peshawar, where 202 patients were in critical condition.
Peshawar covid positivity ratio 13.39% yesterday. Patients in critical care: 202. Of these 50 on low flow oxygen, 134 on high flow and 18 on ventilators. 14 new critical patients just yesterday. PDM response : we will be safe on the stage so who cares what happens to citizens

He added that 18 patients were on the ventilator in the city.
Despite this serious situation, the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) was insisting to hold a rally in Peshawar. They are least concerned about the health of masses, the federal minister said.
