Islamabad: The Covid-19 death rate has jumped to 140 per cent in the country, says a federal minister.
Federal Minister for Planning and NCOC chief Asad Umar in a message posted on Twitter on Tuesday said: “Last week daily covid mortality was 12. This is 140 per cent increase as compared to last few weeks.”

He said that last week daily 12 deaths were reported from the pandemic.
The NCOC head warned that if we do not change our current path then we would lose both lives and livelihoods.
