ISLAMABAD: : A Special Court on Friday orders fresh investigation in the high treason case ageist the former Chief of Army Staff and ex-president Pervez Musharraf.
The court orders Federal Investigation Agency to hold fresh investigations against the Pervez Musharraf. The court directed the investigation agency to submit the investigation report by December 17. The court adjourn till December 17.
Earlier,on Wednesday, a meeting of the Judicial Commission (JC), chaired by Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali, proposed the elevation of Sindh High Court Chief Justice Faisal Arab who heads the special court as a judge of the Supreme Court. The court expresses concerns over the investigation in high treason case against Musharraf.
