A Brooklyn cook, Ossieo Silva accused of pointing a green laser at two television news helicopters to obstruct the pilots’ vision in jest has been set $20,000 bail.

Ossieo Silva was outside 926 Fulton St. as two TV channel helicopters were hovering above the 78th Precinct stationhouse Wednesday evening to get a shot of the Greyhound bus that was allegedly stolen by serial transit thief Darius McCollum.

A pilot with NBC looked through his viewfinder and spotted a heavy-set individual on the ground standing and pointing an item that emitted multiple flashes of light pointed at the cockpit, according to court documents.

Silva, 20, who allegedly matched the description, was seen by the pilot going into a restaurant.

When police arrived, Silva allegedly admitted he never pointed a light at helicopters before and thought it would be funny, the document read.

NBC 4 reported that police found Silva, a cook at a health food store, holding a frying pan with the laser inside.

The prankster was hit with charges of reckless endangerment, directing a laser at an aircraft and unlawful possession or use of a laser pointer.

A judge set his bail at $20,000 cash or bond.

The laser pointer was found in a cooking pan, authorities said.

McCollum, 50, was awaiting arraignment at Brooklyn Criminal Court.
