KARACHI: A local court on Monday accepted the bail petition of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Amir Khan.
According to initial details, Amir Khan was granted bail against a surety bond of Rs 10,00, 000 and the MQM leader is only restricted to go abroad during the investigation.
It is reported that FIR against Amir Khan and other MQM leader includes anti-terrorism clauses and accuses them of sheltering target killers, criminals.
Amir Khan was taken into custody from MQM headquarters Nine Zero on March 11 during a Rangers raid. A number of MQM workers and activists were arrested during the raid, some of them were convicted of murders, extortion and other crimes.
