Country’s economy still in bad shape despite passage of three years: Zubair

ISLAMABAD: Zubair Umar, the spokesperson for PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif and her daughter Maryam Nawaz said that the country’s economy was still in bad shape despite passage of three years.

Addressing a presser here at the Muslim League House, Karsaz,  on Thursday, the former Sindh governor questioned where is the PTI-led government’s economic team?

PML-N, Sindh, Secretary Information Khawaja Tariq Nazir, Deputy Secretary Shehbaz Sheikh and others were also present on the occasion.

Prime Minister Imran Khan was used to claim to take the country’s economy to the take-off stage after putting it on the right track.

Zubair said that the inflation, poverty and unemployment were important issues to tackle to provide relief to the masses.

The PTI-led government was completing its third year but the national economy was still directionless, the former Sindh governor added.

Earlier on Wednesday, the spokesperson for PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif had said that the country’s revenue growth had remained only 10 per cent during the past three years.
