ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) on Monday said that the country’s consumer price inflation (CPI) slowed to 12.40 per cent last month (February) as compared to the same month a year earlier.

In January, the PBS had recorded the CPI inflation at 14.56 per cent, the highest in 10 years.

The bureau added that the prices of food items, including wheat, fresh vegetables and pulses that had been top drivers of inflation, had come down.
