COAS led Corps Commanders Conference reviews security challenges: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday headed Corps Commander meeting in Rawalpindi to review security challenges to the country.

Professional matters of Pakistani Armed Forces were reviewed during the latest Corps Commander conference led by COAS General Raheel Sharif, Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR) said.

Matters relating to internal-external security challenges and intelligence based operations were also came into discussion during the meeting. The top military heads discussed regional strategic situation and development of ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb.

COAS expressed satisfaction over development in the military operation against terrorism in tribal parts of the country. He praised performance of security agencies to destruct terror networks across Pakistan.

General Raheel paid rich tribune to the martyrs of security forces who sacrificed their lives during ongoing battle against terrorism and extremism.
