KARACHI: As of Saturday night (11:30pm) the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus has reached 1,496 in the country.
After emergence of new cases, Punjab overtook Sindh with 557 confirmed infections.
Twenty-five patients have recovered so far in the country while 12 have lost their lives.

In Punjab: 557
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 180
In Balochistan: 138
In Islamabad: 39
In Gilgit-Baltistan: 111
Azad Kashmir: 02
Deaths: 12
Globally over 27, 000 people have so far died of the deadly disease.
