Coronavirus reaches Antarctica

Santiago: Coronavirus has also infected the continent of Antarctica.

According to the foreign news agency, Chilean military personnel stationed at the Bernardo O’Hains Research Center in Antarctica were diagnosed with the deadly virus.

Coronavirus has been confirmed among 36 people at a Chilean army base. The victims include 26 soldiers and 10 civilian contractors.

A Chilean military spokesman said Coronavirus was diagnosed after two soldiers fell ill.
