MUZAFFARABAD: Muzaffarabad high court has issued a contempt of court notice to Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Abdul Majid over not contesting local bodies elections despite court orders.
The High Court on March 5 ordered Azad Kashmir government to contest local bodies elections by August 5 and also appointed Chief Election Commission for the process but despite the orders court, AJK government failed to contest the elections.
Raja Sajjad filed the application in the court and stated that the government committed contempt of court by not contesting the election.
