ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed the Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan to submit a written response to a contempt notice.
Earlier, she had appeared before the court for offering an unconditional apology today (Tuesday). This was the second apology in less than a week time from Dr Firdous over her anti-judiciary remarks.
IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah, during the hearing, remarked that it was a crime to level allegations in a subjudice matter.
