Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Monday said that congregational prayers would be offered at mosques during the holy month of Ramazan.
He said that the Ulema had always helped the government.
The chief minister said that coronavirus cases were on the rise in slum areas. Local transmission of the virus is very alarming. We need to follow the health advisory, he added.
The chief minister directed all the deputy commissioners to pinpoint the affected areas and carry out testing as there is no shortage of testing kits.
