“Concerns on corruption matter should be addressed”

ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Secretary General, Liaqat Baloch said corruption is the biggest issue of Pakistan which is causing financial crisis.

Addressing to a Traders convention in I-10 area of Islamabad, Liaqat Baloch quoting Panama Leaks said about 250 people have transferred the money to foreign countries using offshore companies.

He said concerns of all nationals should be addressed at earliest over the corruption issue just as a focused move taken in past in shape of National Action Plan (NAP).

He said there are some speculations circulating about resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, whereas, voices were echoed for the formation of a commission headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) to probe Panama papers. He said all opposition parties showed agreement for fair investigation of the Panama revelations but questions were also raised over non-implementation of orders released by the Supreme Court (SC).

Liaqat Baloch urged distribution of country’s resources on basis of justice by spending tax returns for prosperity of the nationals and traders’ community. He appealed nationals to support honest and patriotic leaders to remove major issues of Pakistan.
