Karachi: Karachi Administrator Iftikhar Shalawani has been removed from his post.
Iftikhar Shalawani also had the additional charge of Commissioner Karachi.
According to Sindh government sources, Iftikhar Shalawani has been removed from both the posts.
Sources said that it has been decided to appoint Naveed Ahmed Sheikh as the new Commissioner Karachi while Laiq Ahmed will be the Administrator of Karachi.
According to Sindh government sources, notification of the appointments will be issued shortly.
