Colombo Test: Pakistan trail by 6 runs at stumps day 3

COLOMBO: Pakistan made 171 runs on loss of two wickets against Sri Lanka at stumps day 3 played at Colombo.

Pakistan in reply of Sri Lanka’s lead of 177 runs made 171 thanks to Ahmed Shahzad’s 69 and Azhar Ali’s brilliant half century before umpires call off the day due to bad light.

At that stage Azhar Ali was batting on 64 along with Younis Khan who was undefeated at 23.

Earlier, Sri Lanka resumed their incomplete first inning from 304 runs and just added 11 runs to the total before getting all out.

Kaushal Silva once again played a great hand of 80 runs while Mathews scored 77 runs.

Yasir Shah picketed up six wickets in that innings for the visitors.
