KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chief Engr. Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that a collective struggle is needed to bring a sustainable positive change in the society.
He expressed these views while addressing an Iftar dinner ceremony,held at Jamshed Town.
Speaking on the occasion, he strictly criticized a part of media that has been violating the pious spirit of Ramazan through cheap programs in the name of Ramazan transmission.
He said that unfortunately the media has been introducing negative trends in this holy month, instead of inviting masses towards the purification of soul.
He was of the view that people need to strengthen their relation with their creator as this is the only way to bring peace in this world. He added that the Ramazan Karim is the best opportunity for a Muslim to refresh his or her soul and to bring their relation with their creator at an ideal level.
He stressed the need of collective struggle for bringing in peace and prosperity in the lives of individuals as well as our society. He urged masses to join hands with JI for its struggle against evils in the society.
