ISLAMABAD: Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during next 24 hours, however, rain with snow is expected at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltastan.
Continental air prevailing in most parts of the country, an official of Met office told APP on Saturday.
In last 24 hours widespread Rain-thunderstorm occurred in Kashmir, Islamabad, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi , Hazara division, while at isolated places in Peshawar, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Multan, Sahiwal divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Rainfall recorded during last 24 hours was Murree 47 mm, Rawalakot 45 mm, Pattan 40 mm, Kotli 39 mm, Muzaffarabad 32 mm, Balakot, Kakul 29mm, Chilas 24mm, Mangla 23 mm, Jhelum, Rawalpindi 22mm, Islamabad Z.P 20 mm, Jhang 17mm, Malamjaba , Sialkot Cantt 14 mm, Gujranwala 11mm, Bunji 10mm, Mianwali , Mandibahauddin 09mm, Gilgit 08mm, Lahore A/P , Sargodha 6mm, Mirkhani 05mm, Bahawalnagar, Kalam and Faisalabad 04 mm.
Below freezing temperatures recorded on Saturday were Parachinar -05øC, Skardu, Astore -02øC, Dir and Quetta -01øC. Pollen count recorded during last 24 hours was 39 per m3 of air.
