Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Raheel Sharif has signed the death warrants of 11 convicted terrorists, ISPR reported on Tuesday.
The militants were involved in several incidents of murder, abduction, attacks on military forces and bomb attacks, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
They are believed to be involved in different attacks on educational institutions as well
The COAS signed their death warrants after their cases were heard in military courts.
The military courts were established after the APS Peshawar attack in December 2014. They were established to give swift verdicts over cases of convicted terrorists.
Since the establishment of the military courts, several militants have been hanged.
Although UN and global human rights groups have opposed the hangings but Pakistan has continued to follow this policy in accordance with the National Action Plan (NAP).
