Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has left for Peshawar to visit Army Core headquarters.
During his visit he will meet the personnel who took part in Pakistan Air Force base headquarter operation.
He will also visit injured of the attack.
It is pertinent to mention here that, At least seven militants stormed a heavily-guarded Pakistan Air Force base in Badhaber area on the outskirts of Peshawar.
Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) conforming the attack said eight terrorists had been killed so far by the forces while two PAF personnel embraced martyrdom.
At least 10 personnel including two officers sustain injuries in militant attack, ISPR said.
