RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Monday approved death sentences of nine hardcore terrorists.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asim Bajwa said that these terrorists were involved in the killing of civilians and army personnel in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. These terrorists were tried by the military courts.
He added that they were involved in sectarian killings in Balochistan’s Mastung, suicide attack on a mosque in Nowshera, attack on Major General Sanaullah and colonel Tauseef. A terrorist was also awarded life imprisonment, the DG ISPR added.
