MOSCOW: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Thursday met with Chairman State Duma of Russian Federation.
The Duma chairman appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for the stability in the region. ISPR said in a statement that the Duma chief had said that they would stand with Pakistan against terrorism and extremism and to restore peace, stability in the region.
Duma chief said that their independent and consistent relations would further grow. He said that Pakistan and Russia were taking keen interest to enhancing cooperation in defense.
COAS General Raheel Sharif also visited a defense exhibition and took keen interest in helicopters and tanks.
