COAS, PM direct for immediate relief to quake victims

Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif has directed the concerned authorities to provide immediate relief to the effected of earthquake.

Following the earthquake several reports of casualties and loss of property stared to emerge from across the country.

This is the strongest earthquake in history of the country.

Emergency has been declared in hospitals while rescue teams dispatched to the sites.

Several cities including Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore, Sargodha, Malakand, Sawat, Abbottabad, Sialkot and Muzaffarabad are hit by the strong tremors which were measured at 193 kilometres deep and is registered as strong reportedly.

The quake tremors were felt around 2:15 PM on Monday.

Many people came out house due to fear.

According to USGS, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded was 7.7 in Asia.
