QUETTA: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has reiterated his resolve to root out terrorism and extremism.
The Military Chief addressing to a gathering of officers at Command and Staff College in Quetta and emphasised Pakistan’s resolve and determination to confront global phenomenon of terrorism and extremism, said DG ISPR Lt Gen. Asim Bajwa on Twitter.
“No military of world is able to synergise effects as much as Pakistan Army could do single handedly. Rightly proud of commanding dynamic and resolute force,” he quoted the army chief as saying.
“Dilating on the effects of operation Zarb-e-Azb, he explained how we had transited from hard core kinetic operations to intelligence based operations and now combing operations,” Bajwa said.
“More work to do to achieve final objective of fully peaceful and prosperous Pakistan,” the army chief said, according to ISPR.
