RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Thursday conferred awards on army personnel for showing valor during the operation Zarb-e-Azb.
Inter Services Public Relations said the award conferring ceremony was held at General Headquarter, Rawalpindi.
General Raheel conferred Sitara-i-Imtiaz (military ) on 35 personnel and Sitara-i-Basalat on other 35 army personnel for showing valor in the operation Zarb-e-Azb. Medals of the martyrs were received by their heirs.
A great number of army personnel and heirs of the martyred in operation Zarb-e-Azb was present in the award conferring ceremony.
