BERLIN: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Tuesday called on German Foreign Minister and discussed matters of mutual interest, regional security and peace in the region.
German FM acknowledged Pak contribution in war against terrorism and regional peace. Germany understands Pak challenges and assured full support for Pakistani efforts for stability and peace in the region. COAS held an interactive session in Koerber Foundation, renowned think Tank in Berlin.
COAS explained in detail the challenges faced by Pakistan and contribution towards peace and stability in the region.
He continued, “we have sacrificed immensely, more than any other nation. World needs to stand by us till dividends are fully realised.”
