Coalmine mishap kills two workers in Nowshera

ISLAMABAD: Two coalmine workers were died when rope of a vehicle bringing out the coal wobbled in Jabba Tar area of Nowshera on Tuseday.

Police said the deceased workers, 18-year-old Gul Muhammad and 30-year-old Gul Hamesh, belonged to Pir Abad area of Shangla.

The bodies have been sent to their native village.

The incident happened at a time when a vehicle filled with coal was being pulled up through a machine. The rope of the machine was cut due to which the labourers came under the coal.

Their bodies were retrieved after efforts of four hours.
