CNG price dipped to eight years’ lowest

ISLAMABAD: The prices of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Tuesday has dipped to Rs 41.90 per litre, the lowest in last eight year, Chairman All Pakistan CNG Association Ghiyas Abdullah Piracha said on Tuesday.

In a statement,he said CNG would be available on Rs 41.90 per liter from Wednesday onwards in Punjab, which was running on Regasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG).

An agreement between Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and All Pakistan Compressed Natural Gas Association (APCNGA) had been inked to reduce the CNG 5.30 per litre.

He said the prices had been decreased on the directives of Minister of Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
