CM Sindh dismissed summary to reopen schools on August 3

KARACHI: Sindh Education Department had announced to re-open schools on August 3 in the areas not affected by the floods across the province but later in Sunday’s wee hours, Chief Minister of the Province, Syed Qaim Ali Shah dismissed the summary and restored the previous order.

Sindh government had finally ended up to and fro situation for resuming schools after summer vacations. A notification had been released by the provincial government to re-open schools across Sindh on August 3 but it was once again dismissed by the CM.

CM Shah dismissed the summary and restored the previous order that the schools in the province will open on August 11, according to CM House mouthpiece.

Earlier, Secretary Education Sindh said that the decision was made in better interest of the students. He said that schools of flood-hit areas of the province would be exempted in the new notification and it will be reopened on August 11.

A conflict was emerged between Sindh government and Private Schools Management Association (PSMA) over extension in summer vacations made by the provincial authorities.
