KARACHI: Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah on Friday paid a surprise visit to Sindh Secretariat and expressed resentment over officers’ low attendance.
Sources told that the minister has ordered strict action against the absent officials and warned of severe consequences if they continue arriving at office late.
He also directed the authorities to sack those employees who are not coming to office at 9.30am.
Since taking over as Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah has been making surprised visits to different offices but the officers and employees have not been bothered as they believe that nothing would be done against them.
