QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Syed Murad Ali Shah called on Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri at Chief Minister Secretariat Quetta, here on Wednesday and expressed his deep sorrow and grief over huge life loss in Police Training Center Quetta carnage.
Chief Minister Sindh along with Sindh Ministers including Mir Hazar Khan Bajarani and Nisar Ahmed Khoro arrived in Quetta on a one-day visit.
They were of the view that terrorism was not only issue of a province but of the entire country. “Anti-Pakistan forces are involved in acts of terrorism to create unrest and chaos in the country,” they said. They vowed that terrorists would be defeated at any cost and added that joint efforts would be made to foil terrorism plots.
Highlighting the details of the incident, Chief Minister Balochistan said that all suicide bombers entered Pakistan from other countries while local people played role of their facilitators.
“We have intelligence information about terrorism plot,” he said adding that terrorists could not implement their nefarious designs during month of Moharram-ul-Haram as Balochistan government had made tight security arrangements.
He said that security forces saved several lives during operation at PTC Quetta and added the center was cleared of terrorists within four hours.
“We live in conflict zone and have been facing security challenges,” CM Balochistan said. He said that the Balochistan government in collaboration with security forces has been putting serious efforts to deal with challenges pertaining to security and law and order.
