LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met Governor Muhammad Rafiq Rajwana at the Chief Minister’s house on Wednesday.
Matters of mutual interest and development projects were discussed in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that service to people was prime obligation of Muslim League-Nawaz ,adding provision of basic amenities to the masses was mission of the government. He said the completion of mega development projects in transparent and orderly manner was hallmark of Punjab government.
He said under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif the government was pursuing public welfare programme.
The Chief Minister said glaring example was set by saving billions of rupees in development projects. He was of the opinion that efforts were being made to provide better facilities to the people and to raise their living standard.
Shehbaz Sharif said efforts were being made to overcome energy crisis. He said darkness would be removed from the country with the completion of various ongoing power projects.
