CM Shahbaz thanks Turkey for assistance in difficult times

LAHORE: Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday applauded Turkey’s rescue activities for quake victims in Pakistan.

While meeting with famous Turkey investment group chairman Abdul Qadir Turan in Lahore, CM Shahbaz stated that Turkey has always assisted Pakistan in difficult time. He said that Turkey has dispatched 750 bags for earthquake and flood affectees.

Sharif added that Pakistan wants to strengthen everlasting ties with Turkey. He said that the incumbent government is keen in enhancing bilateral relations with all the neighboring countries.

On the other hand, relief and rescue operation is in full swing after 7.5 magnitude quake killed more than 270 people in Pakistan and leveled thousands of homes on October 26.
