LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has departed for Saudi Arabia to convey an important message of premier Nawaz Shari to Saudi leadership.
According to sources, the chief minister will discuss the situation in Yemen and the Middle East during his meetings with top Saudi officials.
Shahbaz was being accompanied by Sartaj Aziz, the Prime Minister’s Advisor on Foreign Affairs.
The CM Punjab during his visit will give assurance of Pakistan’s complete support to Saudi Arabia. He will also meet Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz to discuss important matters regarding the Yemen crisis.
Shahbaz Sharif’s visit is being viewed as significant in the wake of current regional situation.
