KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has directed the police to strictly enforce the standard operating procedures (SOPs) in the province.
A meeting of Coronavirus Task Force was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah in which provincial ministers, Corps V, Rangers and representatives of WHO participated.
It was informed in the meeting that 154 patients died from coronavirus in April and there are 5.4 per cent cases of the virus in the province, recovery rate in Sindh is 93 per cent and mortality rate is 1.6 per cent.
It was further informed in the meeting that in last 7 days 10.42 per cent cases were reported in Karachi, 14.52 per cent in Hyderabad and 5.48 per cent n Sukkur.
