CM KP announces sit-in before parliament house on May 12

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pervez Khattak has said that the federal powers should stop atrocities with small provinces. He said that they would hold protest demonstrating on May 12 in front of parliament house against prolonged load shedding in KP.

While addressing the KP assembly session he said that WAPDA is itself a thief but punishment is being given to the locals. He threatened to lodge sit-in before parliament house with coalition partners on May 12 if WAPDA failed to end load shedding.

CM KP complained lesser share of the province in agreements worth $45 billion with China as only $2.5 billion were allocated for KP province.

He said that the federation is delaying to pay Rs146 billion in term of electricity dues.

On the event, ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) parliamentary leader Sardar Orangzaib also lashed out over federal government and announced to join sit-in in support of CM KP.
